Positive Product Points

Easy to use - easy to clean. Makes an excellent espresso and has plenty of steam capacity.

Negative Product Points

If the machine is not used for more than 20 minutes you must run it to cool off the water - also it is a little noisy when making the espresso. The head gets very hot.

Detailed Commentary

Bought the machine from Chris's and was treated extremely well. Mary would have taken a full day to explain every little detail if I had the time. Chris would have taken the rest of the week had I had a additional questions.

The machine was in perfect condition upon arriving home. The instructions allowed me to start making cappuccino immediately. The steam wand remained cool for easy cleaning and the milk frothed faster then I ever imagined milk could. I was a little surprised at the amount of  noise the machine made while I was using it and hope that future versions will be quieter. While the machine has an adapter to allow direct water hookup I fill the tank manually each time. Since you have to allow some run off to cool the water if the machine sits I find myself filling the tank after 6 double espressos. While not a major chore it would be nice to have a larger fill hole.

Overall my experience with the Andreja has been very satisfactory and could not imagine finding a better value. It has all the features of the more expensive machines and the single boiler for home use is more than adequate.

Buying Experience

Bought from Chris' coffee in Albany, New York. Picked up the machine in person. If I allowed them  they probably would have followed me home to make me breakfast and my first cup of cappuccino. Mary and Chris were great and while I have had no problem with my machine I am positive that they would repair it with the same enthusiasm with which they sold it.

Three Month Followup

Experience has been consistent with my initial impression. Enjoying the machine more and more.

One Year Followup

Machine has performed flawlessly. The espresso has been consistent and no matter how many cups you are making the machine is more than capable of producing them. Other then the noise you could not get more for your money.
