Wonderful everlasting steam and you can "pull" a shot at the same time with no problems. You can leave it on all day with no problem at all. Very reliable, I have used mine quite a bit over the past 2 years and have had no problems at all. very stylish looking!
Negative Product Points
The machine is a little noisy. Also you do need to bleed off an ounce or two of water before putting on the portafilter if the machine has been on for a while, otherwise you will get "burnt" espresso. Needs to be set on a stand a couple of inches tall to be able to froth easily.
Detailed Commentary
It takes a while to get used to this machine but once you do it‘s a "comfortable" fit. The tight fitting portafilter takes some getting used to. The fun part is when using good fresh espresso beans I roast myself and ground in my Faema grinder the shot will look exactly like a Guinness beer being poured as the crema settles to the top of the shot glass I use. After having 3 other espresso makers over time I can say I don‘t need to upgrade anymore. My previous machine was one of the Faema home units and worked well but didn‘t have near the steam available for frothing. This machine is not for the "newbie". I paid right at $1,000 for the unit 2 years ago which was still a steal at that time!
