Detailed Commentary
I own a Vivaldi II at home, but as a physician I was spending every third weekend at the hospital without my espresso. I took the jump and bought the Mini for use in my office and have been thrilled. I was concerned that the pump would be louder than the rotary pump but it wasn't. I was also concerned that the water would be difficult to fill, it isn't. The machine produces amazing shots every time. If you can plumb the machine in I would skip the Mini and go with the Vivaldi II. I did get the pre-infusion chamber and am ready to get the update for pre-infusion on my home machine now. It doesn't make the shots better, but does increase the odds of a great shot. The staff at Chris' coffee were excellent in answering all my questions and helping me prior to the sale. I highly recommend calling them if you are even considering this machine.
