This machine is superb, easy to master for a non-techy like me and with information available on coffee Geek, it is not difficult to learn very quickly how to make an espresso/capuccino that is so superb that you create another problem - that is it is now extremely difficult to find a restaurant or café that can even come close to matching what you can do at home.
This machine is a very serious piece of equipment that seems like a smaller version of the professional machines used in restaurants and coffee shops. It makes machines under $1000 seem like toys.

Detailed Commentary
I started out as a beginner would be home barrista with little knowledge and no experience. This Coffee Geek website was extremely helpful in steering me through the vast amounts of information you need to make an informed decision.
As a result, it referred me to Chris Coffee where I ended up buying the Vivaldi II - the machine is excellent - I have never had a better espresso anywhere and the service and professionalism I experienced with Chris Coffee matched the machine.
I loved this machine and the quality espresso it produced that I bought two more machines.

Regarding Chris Coffee (chriscoffee.com), the sales and service department (especially Mary) are superb, nice, knowledgeable and helpful. Shipping was excellent and follow up service was available if needed. They never made you feel like an idiot for asking really simple questions. WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND CHRIS COFFEE - professional and excellent service is what this company is all about!
