Off to get a perfect espresso. Get one of these machines and you can too - and it looks the part as well.
Positive Product Points
Form and Function all in one. Looks stunning, but most importantly delivers.
Excellent espresso (with the Macap M2 grinder - so quiet).
Negative Product Points
Takes about 20 minutes to heat up - so solution is to have a timer that turns the machine on first thing in the morning!) No indicator to let you know when the water tank is low (however it is 3 litres).
After years of reading reviews, this is my first ever review. Why? Because another review here by Michelle effectively encouraged me to purchase and the Cuadra doesn't disappoint. So to help you make the right choice in having a serious espresso machine, don't discount the Cuadra just because you may not have heard of it.
Vibiemmes, Rockets, are all in the same category, and some are twice the price. (But don't deliver more value). Have a look at the machine - if that's not a feature Kitchen appliance, I don't know what is.
Having previously owned my own cafe with a two group head semi automatic (new) San Marco machine, I'm fairly comfortable around extracting great coffee. The Cuadra delivers. Great extraction, milk frothing at the same time (and is usually finished prior to the espresso). So plenty of power and no drop in pressure. I sit about 9 espresso cups on the machine, all warm and ready to use.
All the rest of the detail has been written by others. I'm just reinforcing that this is a quality machine and it's a great purchase if you're serious about wanting to have great coffee. (I typically drink espresso, but cafe latte with breakfast).
Great experience, using Revive. Nice package (not just the machine) supplied and all arrived in two working days (Freight FREE).
A recommendation though is to have the Macap M2M grinder (doserless) that I purchased. As I suspect unless you're ploughing through coffee, you could waste a bit with the M4. And the M2M is so quiet, yet extremely quick and easy to adjust.
