Positive Product Points

This is one of the nicest "Tools" I have ever owned. The tamp I get is so perfect that I cannot believe the difference. It is absolutely beautiful to boot.  Fits my hand perfectly. The weight is so nice.  You can tell I kind of like it.

Negative Product Points

Well.... I guess you can say that It is too nice to use.  and if I really need to say something is bad about it, I would have to say that i didn't like the packing material that it came in, I do not like that styrofoam popcorn, it is stll sticking to my hands, LOL

Detailed Commentary

This is a African rosewood handle with a chromed stainless tamper.  I worked as a carpenter for many years and the tamper is very much the "hammer" of the espresso trade.   This "tool" is an oustanding piece of art, with a fuctional use.  The 58mm size fits in the portafilter perfectly, and the tamp  comes out equally perfect.  The rosewood handle is egonomically made and it fits the hand nicely.  the handle is removable for cleaning and I suspect that the head will take the dishwasher.   The chromed head is so smooth that the coffee does not stick to it and there is no static build up like the cheap plastic ones that the companies that build the espresso machines seem to think are all the rage.  It will last me for the rest of my life, assuming that nobody comes in that is a coffeegeek, lol.

Buying Experience

1st-Line Equipment LCC as always is the essence of great customer service, and I ordered it on Thursday and had it on my doorstep Monday.
