Bottom Line: If you want to improve your espresso shots buy this tamper!
Positive Product Points

Ever since I got this tamper my shots have been incredible! Huge difference from standard aluminum tamper.

Negative Product Points

I wish it were stainless steel rather than aluminum which tends to marr alot easier than steel.

Detailed Commentary

I love this tamper! It fits good in the hand, it looks cool, it's well made and it has Schomer's seal of approval! I had a basic aluminum tamper $9.99 that I got from 1st Line and it worked good but I was having trouble getting consistent shots. I think a big difference is that with the Ergo it has a super smooth bottom vs. the rough bottom of my previous tamper. I know that this has enabled me to polish the top of the puck way better resulting in a more even flow of water through the puck. Seriously, I have nothing but positive things to say about this. My shots are now consistenly 25-30 seconds. This was probably one of the best investments I've made in my espresso quest.

Buying Experience

Espresso Supply was great. Nothing but good things to say about them.
