Positive Product Points

very customizable, very stylish, well made, and heavy.

Negative Product Points

some softer woods have issues with the threading wearing out in the handle.

Detailed Commentary

Well its a tamper, I designed my most recent with a red and black ply handle, brass bezel, and 57mm stainless flat piston, in the past I have used their ebony handles, and convex pistons, and I have always been satisfied.
The handles fit well in the hand, and the pistons are made of a heavy steel, which after accidentally dropping it down some stairs, i found to crack tile without scratching the pistons finish.
These parts are well made, and really look great on any counter.

the screw in between the handle and piston is a bit of a pain to deal with, but locking it in place with epoxy worked out for me, I would highly recommend these tampers.

Buying Experience

Espresso parts is a very genuine company, who truly cares in helping to bring the most excellent service... that sounds really corny but its how I really feel. they helped me with all of my questions, tampers, cleaning supplies, and machines, these guys/gals are really knowledgeable.
