Bottom Line: Seems to be the only item of it's kind that I have seen, and Capresso did well with it.
Positive Product Points

A great addition to my superauto coffee machine.  It will allow me to expedite large quantities of froth in a short time, and I like being able to pre-froth into my cup, then add the espresso.  It even works well with half n half.  The stainless steel Thermoblock is also a plus.

Negative Product Points

Clean up is the only negative I can think of so far, but at a time of 60 seconds, it's not too bad.  An adjustable spout would be nice for taller cups, but it accommodates most well.

Detailed Commentary

I just got the machine 2 days ago, but have used it several times.  Set up took less than ten minutes, including reading through the instructions.  I believe the artist was looking at other parts when he drew the sketches for this machine's parts, but assembly is simple non-the-less.  The water heats quickly, and the large push button top is easy and comfortable to operate.  There is a 7-8 second delay (when you release the button) which takes a bit of getting used to, however, after the first few froths, you'll remember to release it early.  The froth thickness seems to average about 2 inches in an 8 to 12 oz. cup, after adding the coffee and sugar to the cup.  I have now started pre-loading the cup with a dose of sugar to keep the foam thickness at an optimal level.  It holds enough water to steam about 30 oz. of milk, but with the easy flip open lid, you could keep adding water and just keep steamin and steamin, if you so desired.  I have yet to try hot chocolate and chai tea with it, but from what I have read, it works well for both.

Buying Experience

I enjoyed this item as a free bonus (when I purchased my Saeco Royal Office superautomatic).
