Detailed Commentary

This is one of the most aesthetically pleasing kitchen tools I've ever used. The look and feel of the rosewood handle is as good as it gets. The stainless base is perfectly weighed and never seems to need cleaning.
I had always seen the baristas in my favorite coffee shops using RB tampers, and so when I received my current "pro-sumer" espresso machine, I knew that a RB tamper would be the icing on the cake, so to speak. This is the perfect tamper, as far as I am concerned.
When the average person walks into my kitchen, they say "Whoa, nice espresso machine!"
When the average coffee geek walks into my kitchen, they say "Whoa, nice tamper!"

Buying Experience

Tamper was in stock at Visions Espresso in Seattle. I picked it up in-store. Great folks!
