Detailed Commentary

I got this knock box for my coffee bar and i really enjoy using it.  I pursued this very knock box for about six to nine months until I finally got the nerve to buy it.  I am glad that I did, because I was having a hard time dealing with the pucks that came out of my espresso machine.  I needed a cost effective solution to this, so I finally broke down and bought it.  It was a display model, so I got to see what it would look like out of the box before I got it home, so I knew what to expect.  What I didn't realize, was just how large this box would be on my small coffee bar.  This is great, as I don't have to empty it every day, if I get the hankering to make an espresso or drink.  The rubber is a little thin on the knock bar, however, I have seen reviews that people have taken aftermarket rubber from the hardware store and coated the knock bar with it.  Afterall, a knock box is meant to be functional first and beautiful last.  This brings me to my next point; the knock box is quite beautiful, with quality stainless steel and finish.  That can be a problem when keeping it clean.  I have deduced that the inside should look like you have used it and the outside can look pretty.  The knock bar is very heavy and looks like it could do the job, (albeit with a new coat of rubber at some point), for a long time.  I also like the rubber base on the bottom.  The noise from this box is tolerable when knocking the pucks out of my portafilter, and also looks very good and of very quality finish.

Overall, I think this box is very good, bordering on great.  The price of stainless steel is going up, so the price of this box is more expensive elsewhere.  I'm glad that I got this when I did.

Buying Experience

The buying experience was better than the others that I had from this seller.  I had a worse experience in the past, but I got really good and helpful service from the staff.
