Fred Langer (quality: 8.0) 03.05.2004 Rating: 7.0
Bottom Line: If you want 1/2 pound batches of repeatable roasts, don't mind the higher price (factor in the possible need for a variac if your voltage is wimpy) - this beats the Alpenrost hands down.
L C (quality: 8.0) 09.13.2012 Rating: 5.0
Bottom Line: Did not meet expectations.  Not as consistent as I was led to believe, but still does a decent roast.
Doug Jamieson (quality: 8.5) 07.01.2006 Rating: 8.8
Bottom Line: If you are going to roast at home, this is the machine to have.
Darshan-Josiah Barber (quality: 8.5) 11.17.2010 Rating: 9.4
Bottom Line: A quality machine offering total control of the roasting process, with excellent results in the cup.
Aaron Tubbs (quality: 8.5) 06.07.2006 Rating: 4.0
Bottom Line: Several minor irritations, but still the best roasting experience I've had to date.
Bruce G (quality: 9.0) 01.24.2008 Rating: 9.0
Bottom Line: Excellent, excellent customer service from Hottop; very customisable roasting; consistent roasts from saved profiles; highly recommended
Sam Decock (quality: 9.5) 02.04.2012 Rating: 8.8
Bottom Line: The Hottop is a high end consumer roaster that excels in user control, consistency, and repeatability.
