A recently discontinued model, this 3.5 to 4oz coffee roaster had electronic controls and a programmed profile, and roasted on the fluid air principle.

Rating: 8.2
Bottom Line: Unfortunately, this is the home roaster I'd recommend getting. It does a great job, but has serious quality problems.

Bottom Line: The Standard in Air Roasting
Dave Clark (quality: 3.0)
01.17.2000
Rating: 8.0
Bottom Line: A great roaster for beginner to expert if you don't mind 1/4 cup batches. Evenly roasted batches except on larger beans.

Rating: 7.6
Bottom Line: I have never had such a good cup of coffee in the morning before! A bit pricey, but worth it for the flavor improvement!

Steve Johnson (quality: 2.0)

James Schulman (quality: 6.5)

Rating: 6.4
Bottom Line: Good value, needs safety switch!
Ed (quality: 5.0)

Rating: 6.4
Bottom Line: Assuming reliability issues don`t bite you, expect better coffee at less cost with this unit.
Java Man (Espressopithecus) (quality: 9.0)
12.14.2004
Rating: 5.6
Bottom Line: As close to "set and forget" as they come, but durability problems, small capacity, and excess brightness for non-espresso brewing mar this product.
David Buffington (quality: 2.0)
10.04.2000
Rating: 3.2
Bottom Line: A waste of money and time. It might be best to buy the cheaper Hearthware roaster without the 'brain.'
