Detailed Commentary
The Grindenstein is one of those perfect things in life. It does what it should and looks great doing it. How often does that happen with consumer products? The rubber ring on the bottom makes it sit solidly in place when it is in use. Pucks pop out of the portafilter with just an easy tap on the padded bar. It will hold a half dozen or more pucks before you'll need to transfer them to the compost bin. (For those who wish it had more capacity: seriously, you want a large box with a dozen or more pucks in it hanging out on your kitchen counter?!?) It doesn't chew up much counter space and cleans up like new in the dishwasher. You get your pick of colors, too. Plus shipping is included in the price. What's not to like?
