When I first opened the box of the Grindenstein Knockbox, the first thought that came to mind was: "Damn, that thing looks really flimsy.... and SMALL!!"  I was correct about the knockbox being small, but the Grindenstein is virtually indestructible:

Quality of Product:  10/10 --  The Grindenstein is VERY STURDY, with its 'delron' covered steel knock bar and virtually unbreakable grounds container.  There are no loose parts on the entire knockbox, and the entire thing is dishwasher safe (top rack of dishwasher).  Spent pucks do not stick to the knockbox (except for a few grounds), and the box is easy to empty into the trashcan, garden, or compost pile/bin.

Usability of Product: 8/10-- The size of the Grindenstein is what leaves me to deduct a point from the usability of the product(if it were bigger, a 9/10 would be more appropriate).  For me, the Grindenstein is a great size for normal home use.  THIS PRODUCT WILL NOT WORK WELL FOR ENTERTAINING, HOWEVER.  Emptying the pucks every day is a bit of a hassle, but I would rather empty the pucks daily with this small knockbox than have green pucks after a week with a larger knockbox.   Also, the knock bar is almost too small to use with a 58mm portafilter.  I really have to be "on my game" when emptying my Silvia's portafilter into the Grindenstein, or I will miss the grounds container and knock the puck onto the counter:  mom would be really pissed off if I knocked my portafilter onto her new granite countertops.  Speaking of granite, the Grindenstein will slide across a smooth surface if not held while in use.  Finally, the knockbox fits on the drip tray cover when machine is not in use:  people with space issues should really consider this knockbox, as it takes up no counter space.

Cost vs. Value: 10/10-- 28.95 USD shipped from Australia... That's really hard to beat for an indestructible knockbox that was on my doorstep in 5 buisiness days from purchase.  Enough said...

Aesthetics: 10/10-- The "cute" little knockbox is available in 6 colors:  Red, white, blue, black, gray, and brown.  Again, hard to beat on aesthetics (unless you like the 'industrial look').  It is utilitarian in design-- Dreamfarm AU definitely spent their money on the functionality of the grindenstein, but come on, a knockbox is really nothing more than a glorified grounds-only garbage can.

Overall: 10/10-- This is my own personal rating:  the size is perfect for me, as i do not entertain (i'm only 16... no one else my age in TX likes coffee...)  I love the color.  The grindenstein is unbreakable.  It has a great cost vs. value.  It has truly changed my coffee routine (i was knocking into the trashcan before the grindenstein: eww!!).
