This roaster has saved me from drinking bad java juice! With my line of work its easy to not have a paycheck for weeks at a time. Green beans are cheap and I can roast whenever I want to. She's a tidy size and quite portable. and if I want company all I have to do is crank her up and people stick their heads out to see whats smelling so good! After three years of using this product I am ready for a new glass colander as mine has developed a crack in the plastic housing at the base but other than that I have no complaints!!! of course the newly roasted beans need time to deveop their full flavor so I dont recommend roasting and then trying to brew the same beans. 12-18 hours are needed inbetween for the flavors to develop. Some pre-planning is involved but that's the way it is in coffee world. My friends think I am nuts but I roast often and can't order coffee at a restaurant that doesn't pull espresso. I've become a bit of a snob when it comes to the life afirmirming black elixer. anyway the little roaster is super and for the money you can not beat it!!! Its fun and you will always have fresh beans, but its habit forming so you have been warned!
