Detailed Commentary

I had never roasted coffee until I purchased this from www.roastyourown.com along with some green coffee beans. It was very easy to learn to use this machine for the first time. In no time at all I was roasting my own coffee. It wasn't long before I was roasting coffee much better and fresher than anything I was getting from my local roaster. Since buying this machine I have tried the Westbend Poppery and I like the Freshroast much better. It is easy to use with the simple timeing device. I can get a dark roast in 5 minutes. Even though you can only roast 2 1/2 onces at a time you can do 4 or 5 roast in a row without over heating the unit. If you like good coffee or great coffee and can't or won't put up the money for a more expensive roaster then I would recomend this machine.

Buying Experience

I bought mine from www.roastyourown.com and got good service and quick delivery.
