Detailed Commentary

I love this scale.  I use it everyday at the shop to weigh out coffee for drip, french press, and whole bean sales.  I also use it at my house for roasting.  I have used this scale for cupping and it worked just fine for me.  I wish the scale was slightly more accurate, but I wouldn't expect anything more from such a low price tag.  Not to say that the scale isn't accurate.  It has 1/8 oz sensitivity and one gram sensitivity from 0-1 kg and 2 gram sensitivity from 1-2 kg in metric.
I love the fact that it switches from grams to oz/pounds so easily.  I weigh out all of my coffee for press pots, roasting, cupping, etc in grams, and then if someone wants a pound of coffee beans I don't have to figure out the math in my head from grams to pounds I simply press a button and it switches over to pounds with 1/8 oz sensitivity, ensuring that I truly am giving the customer 1 lb. of coffee.
I would definitely recommend (and I do frequently) this scale to anyone who needs an accurate scale for brewing, roasting, or cupping but doesn't want to spend a ton of money on one.

Buying Experience

Purchased from SweetMarias.com.  I have never had any problems with them at all, and have placed many orders with them.  They are always very prompt with deliveries, and you will receive both a confirmation email from them and an email from UPS regarding your tracking number as soon as the order is processed.  I have nothing but praise for SweetMaria's customer service and high quality green beans.
