Detailed Commentary

The Knocchi has been a very good knock box, surviving daily heavy use in my office.  The large aluminum casting with a rubber foot keeps the box from shifting during use, while the removable liner makes it easy to empty. The two biggest problems are the difficulty in cleaning and some spray. Even though the liner is removable the bar doesn't come out easily. With the bar in place it is very difficult for someone with large hands to clean the bottom of the box. The sloped design on the top of the box catches most of the spray from the portafilter when knocking out the grounds, but recessing the bar into the box would prevent most of the spray.

I have been very happy with the knock box, and plan on buying another for home.

Buying Experience

Williams-Sonoma was a good shopping experience, with the clerk getting a unit for me out of back stock with no problems.

Three Month Followup

The Knocchi is still going strong. There is some were showing on the bar, but nothing major.
