Positive Product Points
GREAT value for the price. Ease of use. Repeatable roast results once you find that "sweet spot" for your particular coffee. Very quiet operation making cracks easily audible. Smoke suppression very effective. Beans are easily viewed during roasting process. Chaff collector is very effective.

Detailed Commentary
I love this machine because the Behmor will "grow" with me as my experience and knowledge level increases. I have approx. 50 roasts under my belt with this machine. Although the roasts were OK with the poplite, the complexity of flavors achieved with the behmor are incredible. I keep a detailed roast log with every new coffee variety. Once you achieve the desired roast level, you can easily replicate those results over and over.
I feel that few other products give the bang for the buck value that the behmor does. I have not read too many glowing reviews about the gene or nesco roasters, and felt that the next worthy competition would be the Hottop at more that 3 times the cost but with the same roast capacity as the behmor!
A big reason I chose this machine was due to the enormous amount of online assistance from Behmor owners and those kind enough to share their experiences and in no small way, CG members have given me alot of guidance and knowledge. I have learned much from the CG community. I really doubted that I could roast great tasting coffee, but with this product, and a little knowledge, you can make a great cupa joe!

Excellent machine. The only regret I have is that I did not buy this roaster earlier!!! Again, This raoster will "grow" with me as my expertise deepens. I am very much enjoying the journey!!
