Bottom Line: Buy one, you can't go wrong with a Pixie. It delivers a great espresso shot in less time than it takes to watch a GEICO commercial...
Positive Product Points

Fast and simple to use. Great espresso to boot.

Negative Product Points

I suppose I will eventually get used to ordering coffee capsules online. Right now, it is either that, or driving downtown and parking at Union Square in San Francisco. A bit of a hassle for a few dozen coffee capsules.

Detailed Commentary

Buy one, period. It delivers a great espresso shot. All the convenience in the world would not make up for bad coffee. In this case you get convenience and high quality for a modest price. I also have a Rancilio Silvia. I have to say that other than being able to play with different coffee blends and grind consistencies, the Rancilio does not ultimately make substantially better espresso, and it is a lot fussier to work with. I don't mind the high Rancilio ritual that much, but the Nespresso Pixie is a dream to work with.

Buying Experience

Tasting is believing. Nespresso set up a demo booth in a Target store in Hoboken, NJ. The whole idea of getting good coffee from an aluminum capsule seemed absolutely repellent. But, I have to say I could not believe the quality of the product once I tasted it. I came home and bought one for my office.
