SCAA Hosts 7th Annual Roasters Guild Retreat at Rural Minnesota Resort
What: This summer, the Specialty Coffee Association of America hosts its 7th Annual Roasters Guild Retreat, a four-day event for coffee professionals to bolster their industry acumen and skill-set amid the natural and bucolic surrounding of a rural Minnesota resort lodge. During the retreat, attendees have access to an array of helpful and information sessions to enhance their coffee cupping, roasting and industry knowledge. The classes, which are taught by experienced industry professionals, range in topic from organic farming and coffee farm economics to more hands-on roasting and cupping workshops.
The SCAA Roasters Guild Retreat is only open to SCAA members. The cost for SCAA Roasters Guild Members to attend is $650; non-SCAA Roasters Guild members pay $900 (roasting must be an integral part of your profession.)
