TORONTO, March 17 - Sears Canada has been advised by one of its
manufacturers of a potential hazard relating to the Krups Orchestro Espresso
Maker. It has been discovered that electrical connectors in the espresso
machine may erode, posing a fire hazard.

steel, was sold at Sears Canada retail stores between September 2002 and
February 2006 for $1,199.99. The affected model number is 889-45, and can be
found on a silver sticker located on the bottom of the machine. The Sears item
number found on your receipt of sale is 80580.
There have been no reported incidents or injuries. Customers who have the
affected Krups Orchestro Espresso Maker should stop use immediately and
contact Group Seb (Krups Canada) at the toll-free number 1-800-418-3325 Monday
to Thursday between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. ET and Friday 8:30 a.m. to
1:30 p.m. ET for information on how to arrange for a free product pick-up and
repair.
Sears Canada will be posting signs in all of its retail stores to advise
customers of this safety notice. Sears Canada is bringing this matter to the
public's attention in the interest of consumer safety and apologizes for any
inconvenience.
