The Twist works basically the same as any normal espresso machine.  Find some freshly roasted espresso beans.  Grind the beans in a good espresso grinder (although we at Prima Coffee have found that, for traveling with the Mypressi, the Hario Mini Mill Slim is difficult to compete with), pour the grounds into the basket, tamp down, and pull a high quality espresso shot.  

The secret of the Mypressi is not really a secret at all, it merely maintains the 9 bars of pressure required for a good shot of espresso (this is where the N2O cartridges come in - find extra N2O cartridges here) in a portable fashion.  All of this added to the fact that no cleaning tablets are required (just rinse and dry) after the extraction process makes the Twist a truly portable and affordable high quality espresso option.
