The Hario Nouveau Syphon Coffee Brewer is a vacuum coffee maker, manufactured in Japan where vacuum coffee brewing is nearly as popular (if not more so) as auto drip coffee. The Nouveau is is Hario's most expensive vacuum brewer, and is available in two sizes: the NCA-5B is the 5 cup (20oz) model, and the NCA-3B is the 3 cup (12oz). We tested the 3 cup model.
