Day one has just wrapped up at the Canadian Coffee and Tea Expo in Vancouver, and CoffeeGeek has the show covered!

Jeanette Chan, our news editor is an entrant in this year's Canadian Barista Championship (CBC) - she's scheduled to compete at 12:30 on Saturday, June 12 - make sure you come to cheer her on.

Mark Prince is a judge in the CBC and seminar presenter at this year's show; he's also walking the floor, checking out new products and wares. Here's some photos from the first day.

Show Floor Happenings

New Classe 8 New Classe 8 machine from Rancilio replaces the S series with a lot of power and smarts under the hood.

Innovas Innova Dream machines, lined up and ready to display at the Morala booth. Our first look is coming up this week on the Arc, this machine's sibling. La Marzocco La Marzocco is represented at this year's show with a booth! Krups Krups was giving away a Mocha Brew brewer every hour during the show floor hours! Same thing's happening tomorrow.

Day One, Canadian Barista Championship
