Author Biography George Sabados is a consultant in the espresso and cafe fields, with extensive background in a wide field covering almost everything related to espresso and the business of runing a cafe. He is the founder and a former Executive Officer for the Australian Specialty Coffee Association (AASA), and was the overseer for the first National Specialty Coffee Conference in Australia. George also founded the Barista College of Australia, and has worked with the WBC as well as the Australian Barista Championships. Prior to moving back to independent consulting, George was the General Manager for Michel's Espresso, overseeing a doubling in sales during that period.
He has had several radio and tv appearances, and has written for a variety of newspapers, trade magazines, and coffee related websites.
