I'm looking for some recommendations in SF besides the more popular names such as Four Barrel, Ritual, Sightglass, and Blue Bottle. I gotta say, I really don't care much for these places with the exception of a shot of Blue Bottle at the Saturday's Farmers Market. I just don't find myself enjoying the blends these places are using (exception Blue Bottle). So, any recommendations for me? I'll offer up one for anyone that finds themselves in search of a cup in Glen Park. Avoid the places on Diamond St (Pebbles, Bello) and go to a place on Bosworth called Cup (http://www.cupcoffeebar.com/).

It would be easier to make recommendations based on what you do like rather than what you don't like, but there are a number of other options in town.
Epicenter on Harrison serves Barefoot; Frog Hollow in the Ferry Building serves Verve; Ma'velous near the Civic Center BART is a multi-roaster shop; Jane on Fillmore serves Stumptown; Mercury Cafe in Hayes Valley serves De la Paz.
And plenty more.

After those that you named, Bicycle Coffee is one of my go to brands...Not a lot of options but it's always fresh when I've had it. Whole Foods stocks it often.

Hmm sounds like you enjoy darker roasted blends. Blue Bottle blends are pretty comfort so most of their locations are probably good, perhaps except the main hub location out in Oakland that serves SOs. You can also check out Coffee Bar in the financial district, (MR Espresso).
I think you might like the Stumptown shops depending on how they pull Hairbender, I've gotten a shot from Ma'velous that tasted like spiced chocolate.
You can also try Stanza out in the mission (?) or near there, always rotating a ton of roasters so its a new experience each time.
But most of the big names besides Blue Bottle offer 3rd wave Orange Juice not Chocolate sauce.
