I stopped in twice this last weekend on a road trip for coffee at Element Coffee in Camarillo in Ventura County. The first stop, I had a Kenya Gakui Peaberry V60 and a Black Cat espresso, both were excellent with the Black Cat having a good chocolate cherry flavor. On the way back, I had less time and had consumed more coffee earlier so I just had a great V60 of Panama Elida Natural. They have Verve and Intelligentsia coffees and are a great place for coffee.

Stopped by this shop yesterday on my way North and had a V60 of Handsome Coffee Roaster's Don Medardo Honduras and a shot of Verve's Streetlevel, both quite good. They carry Verve, Intelligentsia, and Handsome coffees. One of the nice things about this shop is that it's open late and right off the freeway so it's an easy stop if your going through Camarillo on the 101. (Click for larger image)

We stopped by for the same reason when my daughter was here. The people were nice too. It is good to see Ventura County finally having a place I stop on the way to or from my dad's place. The giraffe is unique too.
