I got it!!! Ritual Kenya Kanyoni and the Ecco Yirgacheffe Dama Co-op, the #1 and #2 coffee in San Francisco, according to this blog http://godshot.blogspot.com/ , available right here in San Jose at Red Berry Coffee Bar! Very affordable at only $13 per 12oz bag. Only two day after roast when I bought it on Friday.

While at RBCB I also had this macchiato made with Ritual Sweet Tooth Pinona. Nice! Definitely liked it better with steamed milk.

Stopped in today at RBCB had a macchiato. New Espresson, not sure what it was but it had a lime undertone. Very good.

Thanks guys!

Jeff told me that at RBCB his wife makes waffles. So I was there on a very foggy Sunday morning to try one.

Delicious fluffy waffle paired with Ecco Fazenda Sertaozinho coffee from Brazil brewed on a press pot.

At RBCB they also have the same Ecco Fazenda Sertaozinho coffee beans but roasted for espresso. Nice shot with a very different but nice flavor profile.

"Redcab?"

Think Brazil Daterra Single Origin.  From Barefoot Coffee.

She's only two days off of roast, but we think she's all kinds of
marzipan, Smucker's Strawberry Jam-on-pound cake sweetness,
and a creamy finish.  She also has hints of tartness, but she'll
grow out of it, we're sure.

This Friday (Tomorrow!) we are throwing all 2.5# of her on bar,
and we'll keeping pulling her until she's gone.  Drop by for a cup of
what may be the best S.O. espresso of the season.

ONLY at Red Berry Coffee Bar.

Liked the complexity of chocolate and strawberry fruit of the Brazil Brazil Daterra S.O. espresso. Pulled three days after roast and it was a bit bright. Barefoot will roast more of this nice coffee and it will be on bar at RBCB. Jeff told me that they now have their web site up and running. http://redberrycoffeebar.com/

RBCB now posts the coffees they serve on Yelp. So I stopped in and had the Ecco's Bufcafe Rwandan espresso pulled by Chris and it was smooth with nice fruit and acidity.

I've had very nice Lloyd Dobler seasonal espressos at both Ritual in the Flora Grubb Gardens in San Francisco and at Ritual in the Oxbow public market in Napa. Today I had a Lloyd Dobler espresso at RBCB in San Jose which had nice fruit and citrous flavors but not as much complexity and body as the shots I had at Ritual.

Lloyd Dobler at RBCB pulled with a higher brew water temperature had more chocolate and nice fruit. Good enjoyable shot but still didn't match the Lloyd Dobler espressos I had at Ritual.
