had a coffee here a couple of days ago, an affogato.

The thing was though, they made it with this ice-cream called Secret Breakfast, from Humphrey Sloecomb (sp.?) which was made from cornflakes and bourbon. YES... It was f*ing amazing.

Saturday was a nice ol' warm day here on the Embacadero, and that really hit the spot.

I was at the Ferry Building Market place last Saturday morning where there are a total of four locations where I can get Blue Bottle coffee.

The Blue Bottle coffee house located inside was too busy, so I decided to get a latte at one of the two Blue Bottle coffee stands located outside the building.

The Ferry Building Market is located at Pier 1. Last month, just two blocks north on the Embarcadero and also on the waterfront, a fifth location opened where I can get Blue Bottle coffee, The Plant Café Organic at Pier3.

The Plant Café Organic is a restaurant and they have a separate area where you can order Blue Bottle coffee.

I had this nice and complex Retrofit double ristretto. The barista was still dialing in the shot and it was a very slow pour but it tasted very nice.

The Plant Café Organic also has a four station drip bar and they serve press pot coffee.

The Blue Bottle coffee house in the Ferry Building is now very popular with long waiting lines. I don't have the patience to stand in a long line just to get one espresso.

To try to manage the crowd and make espresso drinks faster, Blue Bottle moved the boring looking LM paddle machine to the front where most of the foot traffic is, and moved the cool looking showcase lever espresso machine to the side alley entrance.
