We are excited to announce that the Specialty Coffee Association of America has awarded Gimme! Coffee the privilege of hosting the 2008 Northeast Regional Barista Competition this April in Ithaca, NY!
See some of the best baristas on the East Coast throw it down “Iron Chef” style. This competition is designed to showcase the barista profession and encourage community among specialty coffee enthusiasts. Competitors will showcase their speed, dexterity and passion for coffee, working to present the best of their cuisine.
Competitors must make 4 espressos, 4 cappuccinos, & 4 signature drinks in 15 minutes!
Competing baristas will represent coffee shops and small roasters from all over the Northeast.
Prizes include a thermofilter temperature Scace device courtesy of Espresso Parts Northwest!
The winners of NERBC will go on to represent their region in the United States Barista Championship.
