sounds like you went to abbis....abbis used to be on furry's ferry in the publix shopping center....dark place. they didnt close, but i dont know where they moved to
r.gabs is at the corner of washington rd and davis rd...i dont know how familiar you are with the area..its in front of cadwaladers (sp?) and across davis from the kmart.
our VA location is in the uptown va med center (wrightsboro rd near st jo's hospital)

Interesting thread. During my years at MCG I did rotations at both the Uptown and Downtown VA. The Uptown at that time was for mental illnesses and small in comparison to the Downtown VA and the surrounding MCG campus. I would think your exposure would be greater in the Downtown VA. But then again, it's been a long time since I was in Augusta. Back then ( late 80s ), the best we could do for coffee was brew some maxwell house in the Mr. Coffee in the dorm room or get a cup at the cafeteria. It's good to hear that quality coffee is available in that area. I hope your business thrives!!!

they've moved a lot of the primary care clinics to uptown...and the blind unit is here too..i dunno what else..but there are tons of people passing my counter on a daily basis :)
the downtown VA had someone else doing their coffee when we moved in here....so we couldnt get there at the time...maybe if that place pulls out in the future, we'll add a store over there as well. that would be awesome for canvasing the area! we'd have three corners of the city covered.
