If anyone is passing through Victoria, TX next weekend, stop on by the Texas Zoo. I'm setting up 5 coffee sampling stations (drip) throughout the zoo for all the Spring Break visitors from 9 AM - 11 AM. From 11:15 to 12, I'm breaking out the Hottop for a quick roasting demo and Q&A. If there is enough power available, I'm hoping to have an espresso station running as well.

The power supply looks promising for an espresso machine setup. The station will have:
Compak K8 Fresh
Quick Mill Achille Spring Lever
Milk for steaming
3 coffee syrups

If you will be there, come by and say hello! I'll be in the "Education Station".

There was more than enough power to supply the coffee station. Rain or shine, we'll be serving up samples. There will be 6 sampling locations along with a limited espresso bar. Roasting will begin at 11:15. Hope so see you there!

Wrapped things up at the Texas Zoo. We had so much fun on Saturday we decided to remain until today, which was by far the busiest. We went thru 3.5 gallons of milk serving 45, 8oz cups of lattes, cappuccinos, and hot chocolate between 11 am and 3 pm. Thank you Texas Zoo and all the visitors who stopped by!
