Hi all. I am from Houston and new to this forum even though I have been reading some of the posts from time to time.
I am in the need of help. I have a Pasquini Livia 90 for some five, six years now and need some work done. It seems that the three way solenoid valve is not working anymore. For this I am looking for a repair shop here in Houston.
Anyone has any suggestion or recommendation?

You might try Sunbelt Imports in Sugarland, but replacing a solenoid valve is a pretty straightforward job to DIY.
If you use Sunbelt, they may need to keep the machine for a while waiting to get the part

FWIW, last time I was at Sunbelt someone was picking up their Pasquini that was there for many weeks (5?) that Sunbelt couldn't repair.  Their response to the customer is that they couldn't get in touch with the manufacturer for a parts diagram (or something of the nature).

It is a pretty straight forward replacement, but you need to set out about 2-3 hours of time if you have never opened up the case and don't know what to look for in the machine.   If you were to come down to Lake Jackson I'd be happy to replace the valve with your parts.   Check out espressoparts.com for parts, although it is a pretty standard part.

Also - I am assuming you regularly backflush with water and every month or two with Cafiza or equivalent?

Keep us posted....

Update...   It has been a while. I did find the solenoid valve and was trying to replace the old on. Right; no big deal. I removed the two elbows from the old valve and had to find out when screwing it into the new valve that one of them is out of alignment by 180 deg. Now I need to have the inlet side re-piped. In addition everything is in metric. I’ll see if I can take the machine to the place “Sanbelt”, if I can find it, tomorrow.
