Hi,

Can anyone advise or recommend a coffee roaster in the UK?

I have found a few online but wanted to know who gave a good service and roasted each order on demand....not having it sat in a warehouse for months.

Thanks in advance for any info.

Gyro

Hi Gyro

Two stand out in the UK. Charlie Massey at HillandValley and Steve Leighton at Hasbean. I lean towards the former especially for his espresso blends, but there is no argument about the bean-quality or roast-freshness of either.

Hey Gyro,

The best roaster in UK (in my opinion) is {www.ristrettocoffee.com}Ristretto Coffee.  They roast in small batches and dispatch extremely quickly meaning you usually receive beans within 5 days of roasting.  They also print a roasted on date, rather than a use by date as it is more meaningfull.  Once you try their unique espresso blend you won't go back!  they are also very ethical with their sourcing of beans etc.

Cheers,
Scott

Hey Obi

I live where they roast.  Do you?  If so, perhaps you would kindly share your experience with pulling shots?  Let me know...
I'm a very new user, just got a Rancilio last week.

Hi Stuart

I have tried Andronicas and found the beans Fantastic .
The Parisiene blend you have is very nice make sure that you dose enought in the basket and you will get superior flavour.
You should try some of their other blends , Andronicas has a fantastic range.

Good luck
