I also tried a bunch of other places and found nothing worth writing about.
I can recommend Espressofabriek, Gosschalklaan 7, although quality varied with barista.
I only visited Brandmeesters once, but based on my experience I wouldn't go back unless purchasing equipment. At Coffee Connection they had a nice machine but the barista was very inexperienced. I would love to hear others experiences there, perhaps I got an off day.

A young Woman, she seemed nice but remarked she had only just started. I got the feeling it could be a good place. I would like go back and try it again when I get the chance.
