Before posting I had already been to Super Store, Save-on-Foods, Canadian Tire, and BedBath&Beyond. Since posting, I have also been to Home Depot, Whole Food Market, and Home Sense. None of these stores have them; and unfortunately we don't have Fortinos in Vancouver.
The trend I find in Vancouver, is that the general public belongs to 3 groups. Those who believe in drip-coffee and Tim Hortons. Those who believe in StarBucks or similar chains. And those who are ex-Starbuckers who now go to Artigiannos and have an automatic machine at home. And then there is the rest of us. In general, every single person I have asked about a Moka pot do not have a clue what I am talking about. If I explain that it is a stove-top coffee maker, they kind of think of a percolator. I did find one person who understood what I was talking about after a little education, and his answer was... "There is no way you'll be able to find one of those in Vancouver".
So.... just in case there are any in Vancouver, I would be truly grateful to hear from anyone who actually lives in Vancouver. :-)
Thanks again guys I'm just really keen to start having some coffee at home again :-) :-) :-)
Baba, you're welcome. I have only been to the Kootenay Street store; you might want to directly call the stores and ask. If you happen to visit both the stores somehow, do let me know which one you find most suited!
