Hi,

I recently bought my first espresso machine.  Breville Cafe Aroma.  Works like a charm, I absolutely love it.

Right now I am using Kicking Horse Coffee beans and grinding for espresso coffee.  While I find it makes a great espresso.  I was wondering what are some other good choices.  I live in Calgary.

thanks
sue

Sue, welcome to CG.
Would you like me to move your thread to the Western Canadian Forum?
You might get more action there. Or not. Just guessing.

Check out Phil and Sebastien, they roast locally and have a local cafe. DeVille stocks and uses Intelligentsia, Kawa stocks 49th Parallel. There is also Caffe Rosso who used to use Terroir but I think they roast themselves now.

Rosso has never roasted their own - they use P&S. Kawa also has Intelly. You can also get JJ Bean at Bumpy's.

+1000 for Phil and Sebastians.

Frattello is also popular and they do a good job of dark roasts.

I am also from Calgary and I use the Phil & Sebastion coffee as well.  Good coffee, fresh roasted and nice coffee shops, too!
