I'm just starting to get truly deep into my coffee hobby/addiction, and I've been looking around at coffee subscription services.
I've been recommended Detour Coffee's subscription by a couple of coworkers who have it, so I've been considering getting their option for 2 12oz bags every 2 weeks, split 50/50 for filter and espresso.
Does anyone here use a subscription coffee service? If so, I'd love to hear your experience/thoughts on Detour or any others who deliver to Ontario!
I have been with 49 Parallel for some time. Great coffee but the shipping time for me was an issue. Its took between 7-10 days to reach me. I am at the other end of the country. Now, I am using Social Coffee subscription plan for almost a year. They have great coffee and ship to me each 2 weeks. It's take around 3 days to have my coffee. What I like the most with my subscription, 1 shipment, I received Peoples Daily coffee and the other one, a mix of their espresso blend. If I have questions, they are fast for reply. I hope this can help. Sylvain
Sorry, it's been a busy few days for me, but thank you for your reply!
I had been thinking about 49th Parallel, but the shipping could definitely be an issue. I think I have it narrowed down to either Detour or Social, depending on what kind of pricing Social comes back to me with (I've emailed them asking for a quote).
Either way, I think I'm going to go ahead and order the People's Espresso and People's Liberation espressos and try them out!
