Just cruising for a new coffee spot in the Halton region.... I like Tamp Coffee Co. in the Burlington downtown core and Gabriel from Carvalho Coffee has a nice set up off Bronte and QEW.

As far as coffee in Halton, Tamp is a good spot. Gotta love Jimmy's passion.
Haven't been to Carvalho in a while, but they're good too.
Detour has a shop in Dundas, but just opened their roastery in Burlington for retail bean purchases. If you're in Oakville, give the Kerr Street Cafe a try.
Would also love to know if anybody has more to add to this list.
Some people are like slinkies. They're good for nothing but they will put a smile on your face when you push them down the stairs.

I will have to google for that Detour location. I remember calling a few years ago and they gave me a list of stores, but the ones I went to were selling 2 week old bags.
Aside, I am pretty hooked on Carvalho due to the quality, price, and location.
thumbs up for Jimmy's passion...I still am looking for that new spot though on the east end of Burlington though
