I'm currently shopping for a new machine and I'm thinking about the Expobar Pulser. But I'm having a lot of trouble finding a good Canadian dealer for it. I'm in Montreal every couple of weeks so it seems like a natural place to start looking.

I recently was trying to locate an online Canadian dealer for the Expobar Pulser, as a friend was considering this machine. The only dealer I found was creativecookware.com:
However, the curious thing is that the Pulser is 1299 CDN at creative cookware and was only 800 USD at wholelattelove.com as of a few weeks ago. Yet, I now see the price has just been increased on wholelattelove.com to 1,149 USD.
When there click @ the top of the page under "Machines", then @ the bottom of that page "Click here to browse/order our coffee machines online." Then a pull down menu "Espresso Machines: Little Commercial", click search now., then you'll find for E61 Expobar Office Leva (Lever), etc.
No prices listed then or now, you'll have to call for prices. If you do will you please update this thread with the prices please, as I didn't call then or at a later date. If I'm not busy tomorrow, I'll call & get prices on the Expobar "home" line if no one gets to it before me then.

Anyone know why the Expobar prices went up so high? I paid $1,494.99 in February 2006 for an Athenea Lever now priced at $2,398.98. It went up $100 not long after I bought it until the recent huge increase. Looks like the Brewtus II was spared from the huge price spike.

Neat Coffee Shop is 2+ hours from Montreal in a town called Burnstown and they carry and service Expobar Brewtus II and Office Leva E61. Prices do not reflect any crazy jump.

the jump could be due to the euro vs. the canadian $, which has been crappy (not sure what it's at right now).
i was impressed with the service from creativecookware...i was a bit skeptical as their website isn't very "flashy", but they shipped my machine exactly when they said they would and it arrived within 2 business days (next day after shipping, if i recall correctly). communication was good as well. recommended.
they also indicate that they will beat competitors by 5% (this would be within Canada, i'm assuming)...worth looking into.
