I will be there over the fourth and would love to find a shop around there somewhere. In case there really isn't anything I am bringing the press, some Misty Valley (found some greens burried!!) 3 days past roast and the little (sigh...) blade grinder (nothing else I own is light enough to travel).
But as I am much more an espresso drinker than a FP drinker, I would love to find a shop around that can pull a decent espresso.
Let me know!

About 20 minutes north of Niagara (on the QEW) is a town called Jordan that has a restaurant/cafe called Zoom, and I had a 'decent' espresso there. In and around Jordan there are many nice wineries...if you like wine, so the trip is worth it.
I've never come across a place with decent espresso in Niagara Falls or Niagara on the Lake (though Niagara on the Lake is a much nicer place to visit and spend the day than the Falls area).
Wow... definitely very... "touristy" and so far all I've seen is a T.H. and a *$'s but that's pretty much what I expected. Looks like it will be coffee from the french press. I did notice that down in the breakfast area they have a Fetco brewer, so it looks like I will be using that for my hot water, should be hot enough right? Can't wait for all of the strange looks when I walk over to the brewer with a bag of coffee and a FP... Maybe I should set up shop!
Well Jason thanks for the tip on Jordan, I will try to make it out there. Alternatively does anyone know of any roasteries in the area, or shops that roast their own?
Yes yes Craig... Niagara... you and your smilies... haha
