Hey guys, has anyone of you (Canadians) bought a Sunpentown Turbo Oven from a Canadian vendor ??
I'm looking forward to buy one (improve my home roasting ;-) ), but not sure which way to go, any vendors you would suggest, or does eBay remain the best option ? I'm in the Ottawa area so maybe you know a local place......

Well not much help, but thanks. {;-) These things weigh a ton, something like 17 lbs or so., but the shipping rate just doesn't seem right & too high. I know because I've shipped green coffee to the West coast more than a few times..
All I can suggest is I'd check out a Chinatown in your town or major city & see if they sell the turbo ovens there.

That's great Pascal! I never though to go directly to the source, sometimes the easiest way IS the best way! Now that made me remember, I think someone here on the forums or possibly alt.coffee mentioned that at NewEgg you could only buy the Turbo oven top if needed too., & not the whole unit.
In any event, I'm sure that without a middleman markup that this is the cheapest route. {:-D
It surely will help out a lot of other Canadian buyers, & no way it's commercial as you certainly are not connected with or profit in any way from/for posting really helpful information.
