I know I've talked to a few of you over the past while about 49th Parellel being available in Montreal, but now it's a done deal. Cafe Veritas in Old Montreal (St Laurent and Notre Dame, to be exact) will be serving as well as selling the Epic Espresso blend as well as an array of drip coffees.
Expect the cafe to be open within the next two weeks, I imagine news will be posted here as it becomes available.

Congrats, I hope that goes well for you.
I wouldn't count on Esmeralda making to 49th's wholesale clients - they probably only have 2 bags, maybe 3. I'm sure there are special plans for it given the price.

I was spoiled on the west coast for them for a year or so as well when I worked at Artigiano, but it's still exciting to introduce it to a market like Montreal that's had minimal experience with high quality coffee. And yes, Clark's right in terms of the Esmeralda.
At this point it appears we'll be open Thursday or Friday.
