Searched on this board for some infos regarding coffee forums in Taiwan, but the links provided don't exist anymore, or have downsized to just selling bags of coffee beans! :) Guess that's where the money is... not from selling equipment!
Anyway, I'm looking for help trying to find a place to buy some second-hand espresso machines. I've been on the 2 auction sites (Yahoo and PCHome "Reuten") and it is now mostly populated with vendors offering their products.. not much in terms of second hand stuff... Well, there are a few 2 or 3-group machines that need 220v, plumbed and a LOT of kitchen counter space! :)
I had my eye on a La Scala butterfly but the seller had a change of heart. Another 7 year old Butterfly is offered at $1,500 ... when a new one is $1,750... yeah, right!
Enough ranting. I've checked the Bella Coffee forum, but they are shutting down and not accepting any new members. The Barista Guild of Taiwan doesn't seem updated often and doesn't offer a trading section. SimpleKaffa has one post from 2013, and then drops to ... 2008.

If you can make a trip to Taipei, take a look at Tiamo; they have some decent stuff as I recall. There's a few branches around, but the one that I'm familiar with is on Zhongxiao East Road, near the Yongchun MRT station. Hope that's helpful.
