Preview: A faulty thermometer doesn't seem likely, as you point out.  Since the physical evidence (lack of superheated water at first flush, cool brew temperature, prolonged and incomplete rebound) is occuring...

Preview: Recommendation in that article is excellent for pressure. If it;s plumbed at that pressure, no way the Brew HX circuit is emptying. So it leads 2 possibilities.  There is a fault with the group head...
