Preview: I have a Mahlk÷nig K30 Vario which has a 1.5Kg (3.3 pound) capacity hopper.  The most I ever put in it at any one time is approx. 8 ounces.  There rest goes into sealed Mason jars in my freezer . . .

Preview: My 22 month old Vario W has died. The blue light comes on when I hit the grind button, but no noise at all. I can push down on the bin a bit to simulate weight and the light will go off.... I unplugged...
