Posted Sat Mar 10, 2012, 9:56pm Subject: Shoutout to Advertisers!
Once again, we want to express thanks to our advertisers and tell you a bit more about them. Buying from our advertisers helps CoffeeGeek and its community to continue to exist. And when you buy from our advertisers, and tell them you found out about them at CoffeeGeek, it helps us even more. Fortunately, all of our advertisers sell some of the best products available today for coffee and espresso at some of the lowest prices available online, so shopping with them is a no brainer!
Whole Latte Love, one of our longest and most loyal sponsors, also has one of the biggest ranges of equipment for sale - some of our favourites from them are machines like the Expobar lineup and of course, the amazing La Marzocco GS/3. Whole Latte Love is responsible for bringing in a lot of new innovations for the home coffee and espresso enthusiast - they were one of the first vendors for the Rancilio Silvia, going back to the first 200 machines produced.
1st in Coffee, ties other companies for being one of our longest and most loyal sponsors. Still a small company with very focused service, it is our only source for fantastic illy espresso cups, but Jim Smith likes to source a lot of wicked-cool products and machines, from the most simple and beautiful to the most hands on and focused. If you want a lever machine, he is the guy to buy it from.
Aabree Coffee. Another longtime supporter, just recently, Aabree's website got a complete makeover. We really like that they offer up national distribution of Klatch Coffee Roasters, which is the same roastery that has won the United States Barista Championship two times. The new website is pretty cool - check it out!
I Drink Coffee, a very loyal supporter of the CoffeeGeek website and a Canadian vendor located in Ontario. What we really like about I Drink Coffee is that they have sourced some of the most desirable, cutting edge machines in the world right now and are making them available for the Canadian market. They also have the fantastic Breville Dual Boiler machine and are selling it for the same price that it is going for in the US, which happens to be the lowest price in the world right now!
Baratza, what can we say about this amazing company that hasn't already been said. They've been an amazing supporter of the CoffeeGeek community since day one, and a supporter of our members (lots of product giveaways over the years) and our favourite charities (like CoffeeKids). They produce the best home grinders you can buy and recently rolled out the new Baratza Encore grinder.
Social Coffee Company, you know what makes us really happy? When one of the best roasters in Canada is also one of our premier sponsors. We get lots of love from a lot of Canadian roasters, but in some ways, Social really stands out for us. Mark Prince loves their coffee so much, he's bought a subscription for their coffees weekly, not just for himself, but another one for his father as a yearly Christmas Gift. Social's coffees are amazing and well priced. They ship internationally too.
Espro Products Another Canadian company showing much love for CoffeeGeek, and what we really like about them is how their innovative product line keeps expanding. First was the Espro Tamper; then the Torroid pitcher, and the Dillinger tamper. Then the Espro Press came and it was a huge hit. But for some, maybe just a tad small. A Kickstarter project later, and the new Espro Press Large Size model is coming true! Longtime CG supporter, and fantastic products.
Espresso Zone another company that has been with us for a long time. They are also the source we always send people to when a home espresso enthusiast is looking for La Pavoni lever machines. And a guilty little secret to share: they have these amazing espresso cups from Miscela D'Oro that are some of the best cups we've ever use - super wide bowl design producing better aromatics.
Venia Coffee Roasters. I can tell you that nothing makes us more happen than when quality roasters are sponsors of CoffeeGeek. We've heard so many great things about the coffees coming out of Venia, and they're also the source for a new SCAA certified auto drip machine, the Bonavita. When you want to try another roaster who doesn't get the national attention of an Intelly or Stumptown, give these folks a try.
Lastly, but certainly not least: Clive Coffee is one of our great premium sponsors. We're so happy to have this independent roaster on board with CoffeeGeek. Not only are they are great roaster, but they are developing some fantastic artisan products for brewing coffee - namely the Clive Stand. We liked it so much, we ordered our own customer two-brewer version of the Clive stand and it occupies a proud place in our kitchen.
Other Site Supporters
We want to give thanks to several other companies who sponsor CoffeeGeek - buy shopping with any of these companies (and telling them you found them through CoffeeGeek), you're helping to support our website as well!
Big thanks to 1st Line for their long time support. Same to Chris' Coffee who have been with us a long time and bring some very innovate products to market. And also a huge thanks to Prima Coffee who are sourcing and selling most of the cutting edge new brewing devices available today. Another company for equipment and accessories to consider is JL Hufford, with a wide lineup of products. And we're so thankful for Canada's Morala Trading and their support of CoffeeGeek over the years - your source for Rancilio and other products.
