Paradise Roasters Position Description
Position: Production Assistant
Hours: Full Time M - F, 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM (part-time is negotiable but must be able to work MWF)
Job Description: Paradise Coffee Roasters, an award-winning coffee company, has an immediate opening for a Production Assistant position. We are searching for an ambitious candidate that has an interest in the coffee industry and wishes to grow with our company. Though not the most glamorous of jobs, this position is a great launching pad for anyone interested in pursuing a career in specialty coffee. This position reports directly to the manager and works with the roastmaster to fulfill daily production.
Responsibilities: - Assemble product packaging - Weigh and fill coffee into bags - Process Orders (pick, pack, ship) - Cleaning and general support - Assist roastmaster and manager as needed
Qualifications: - Coffee industry experience a huge plus - Good written and verbal communication - Good computer skills (familiarity with various web browsers and proficiency in Microsoft Office a must) - Must be able to lift over 30 lbs - Works well as a team player - Ambitious and self motivated - Must have reliable transportation
